NEPSE Drops by 14.08 Points Amid Mixed Market Performance

Kathmandu, 4 February 2025 The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a decline of 14.08 points , closing at 2,715.91 points on Tuesday. Similarly, the sensitive index fell by 2.49 points , ending the day at 457.12 points .

A total of 16,917,835 shares from 315 companies were traded, with transactions amounting to Rs 8.91 billion .

In individual stock performance, Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd (JOSHI) emerged as the top gainer, with its price surging by 9.98 percent . On the other hand, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) , Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) , and Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) were the top losers, each experiencing a 10.00 percent drop in their share prices.

At the close of trading, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4.50 trillion , reflecting ongoing volatility in the market.
